Covid-19 Incidence Widget for iOS

As app developers, we are always looking for new ideas and inspirations for our apps. Especially the widget topic within iOS 14 brings many new possibilities.

A useful widget would be, for example, the current incidence value in the current region and the new infections in Germany, since public life is currently strongly oriented around these numbers.

In our video, we show you how, without programming knowledge, you can get an iOS 14 widget for exactly this display using our script and the Scriptables app. Our script retrieves its data from the RKI every hour and also displays the Corona traffic light colors as they currently apply in Germany. In Bavaria, of course, also with dark red.
