Red carpet in Wasserburg for a Rosenheim startup: innFactory wins the Meggle Founders Award. The entrepreneur couple Marina and Toni Meggle, along with Managing Director Matthias Oettel, honored the founders of the software company at Wasserburg Town Hall. These are the two other award winners.

The Meggle Group Founders Award, headquartered in Reitmehring (Wasserburg), has been honoring their efforts to break through with new products, ideas, and services since 2012.

It was last awarded in 2019, then the pandemic hit, and in 2022 the focus of initiator Toni Meggle was on the company’s 135th anniversary. Now the time had finally come again: A jury selected the competition winners. First place went to the Rosenheim company innFactory, a digitalization company specializing in the development of cloud platforms. The customers of the software company founded in 2017 by Tobias Jonas, Anton Spöck, and Maximilian Grassl include small and medium-sized businesses like Familotel, Siteco, or the Starbulls Rosenheim, as well as large corporations like Linde and Microsoft. The name says it all: It’s about digital innovations, regionally anchored, because they’re developed on the Inn river.

350 guests from business, politics, and social life in the Southeast Upper Bavaria region accepted the invitation from Toni and Marina Meggle to Wasserburg Town Hall. Guest of honor: CDU politician Wolfgang Bosbach, a recognized expert in domestic and economic policy. Bosbach joins a series of prominent speakers at the Meggle Founders Award ceremony: In 2019, for example, it was Minister President Markus Söder.
