What is Amazon Monitron?
Amazon Monitron is a complete end-to-end solution for predictive maintenance of industrial equipment. Unlike pure software services, Monitron delivers the complete infrastructure: IoT sensors for vibration and temperature, a gateway for cloud connectivity, an ML-based analysis service, and a mobile app for maintenance technicians.
Monitron sensors are attached directly to machine housings and continuously measure vibration and temperature. Data is transmitted through the gateway to the AWS cloud, where ML models detect anomalies and assess machine condition. Maintenance teams receive notifications on the mobile app when action is needed.
