What is Blockchain Node Engine?
Blockchain Node Engine was a managed Google Cloud service for operating blockchain nodes, including Ethereum (mainnet and testnets such as Sepolia and Holesky), Polygon, and Solana. The service handled infrastructure management: provisioning, synchronization, peer management, and maintenance.
Since June 15, 2026, Google no longer accepts new node or RPC endpoint provisioning. Existing nodes remain operational until the final shutdown on December 15, 2026, after which all nodes and endpoints will be deleted and dependent workloads will stop functioning.
