Google Agentspace is Google’s answer to the growing demand for enterprise-wide AI assistants. What is Google Agentspace?
Agentspace combines three core capabilities: enterprise search across more than 100 pre-configured connectors (Google Drive, SharePoint, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Confluence, Jira, and more), a personal AI assistant for research and task automation, and the ability to create and deploy custom agents for specific business processes. Everything is built on Gemini and designed to meet enterprise security and compliance requirements.
The search functionality goes well beyond traditional full-text search: Agentspace understands natural language queries, combines results from different sources, and generates summarized answers with citations — similar to NotebookLM. Employees can ask questions like “What are the key risks from last quarter’s report?” and receive an answer that consolidates content from multiple documents and systems.
Custom agents allow IT and business teams to create automated workflows that query data from various systems, process it, and trigger actions. Integration with Google Workspace ensures that Agentspace can be embedded seamlessly into existing workflows without creating new silos. Privacy and compliance are central: enterprise data is not used to train Gemini.
