What is STACKIT MariaDB?
STACKIT MariaDB is a fully managed database service based on the open-source MariaDB database. For production use, STACKIT provides MariaDB Galera Cluster: a synchronous multi-primary cluster with 3 nodes by default that operates on a quorum basis and remains operational if one node fails. Single-node plans are also available for development and testing. STACKIT operates the service exclusively in the EU01 (Germany) region; the current version is MariaDB 10.11, while version 10.6 is deprecated (decommissioning 1 July 2027).
