Which PostgreSQL versions are supported?
According to STACKIT's lifecycle documentation, major versions 14, 15, and 16 are currently supported. Version 14 is deprecated and reaches end of support on 12 November 2026; upgrading to version 15 or 16 is recommended. Version 13 already reached end of support on 1 December 2025.
Which extensions are available?
STACKIT PostgreSQL Flex supports a broad range of common PostgreSQL extensions, including pgvector for vector similarity search in AI applications, available since September 2024. The database owner has the permissions needed to enable supported extensions independently.
How does high availability work?
